Afghanistan Is Rotary’s 166th Country With Reinstatement of Kabul Club
The Rotary Club of Kabul, Afghanistan, was welcomed back into Rotary International this week, ending a 24-year absence of Rotary in that country and raising the total number of countries in which Rotary clubs are active to 166.

Cast Your Vote For Rotary's Centennial Logo
The Centennial Planning Committee has developed three logos, one of which will be used in the commemoration of Rotary's 100th anniversary in 2005. The three logos are posted on the Rotary Web site at http://www.rotary.org/logo/index.html where Rotarians can help select the winning logo by voting electronically. Rotarians can also vote for their preference by mail or fax using a form in the November and December issues of The Rotarian and the regional magazines that feature the three logos. Votes will be accepted through 31 December 2001.
