2006: Adopt a School Environmental E-Newspaper
I would like to solicit your support in the School ERT E-Newspaper project organized by Earth Rescue Team and supported by Rotary International District 3450. The project is a very meaningful one which can improve the awareness of students in environmental protection and at the same time, their writing skills. Earth Rescue Team hopes to target a minimum of 100 schools. The Preserve Planet Earth Committee of the District has taken the lead by adopting 5 School ERT E-Newspapers (HK$1000 per school) so that 5 schools are encouraged to complete the on-line E-Newspaper in the first 6 months of 2007. The Committee also seeks your response to commit adopting one School E-Newspapers for your club. Adopting more than one E-Newspaper is welcomed! Clubs which has adopted a school or sponsored an Interact Club are welcome to promote this E-newspaper project to them and sponsor them accordingly.
